Armidale Live inc has many parts
In 2024 Armidale live started work on a submission for a Precinct and Partnerships grant (rPPP). the obligation under the grant is to create a precinct in association with partners. We aim to create an arts, culture and education precinct focusing on the Armidale Mall but reaching out to other significant providers with 8 city blocks. The business case is remarkably simple and yet will also be very effective. We plan to use the grant money to buy up and renovate properties that are for sale, we will keep a percentage of the commercial tenants and turn the rest over to enterprises that fit the precinct vision. The income will pay the bills and guarantee the productive and innovative future of the precinct. A complete plan is available under the rPPP tab on this website.
Renew Armidale
Following the Newcastle renew model we aim to fill empty shops with subsidised tenants who have innovative ideas.
